Juan Coetzer is a private markets investor and alternative capital specialist with deep experience across private equity, private credit, and secondary markets. He brings a disciplined, long-term approach to capital deployment and portfolio structuring, rooted in his extensive advisory and investment experience.

Juan is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charter holder, reflecting his commitment to rigorous analysis and institutional best practices. Prior to co-founding Drip Capital, he led investment advisory and consulting engagements focused on private markets, including brokering and structuring secondary transactions and bespoke solutions for institutional investors and stakeholders.

Throughout his career, Juan has been an active voice in advancing the understanding and adoption of private equity secondaries within South Africa and globally, engaging with investors, sponsors, and intermediaries on market development, liquidity solutions, and structural innovation.

Martin Nel is an experienced investment professional with a strong track record in capital markets, private investing, and transaction execution. As Co-Founder and Partner at Drip Capital, Martin plays a central role in shaping the firm’s long-term investment strategy across private equity, private credit, and private equity secondaries — leveraging his strategic vision, deal structuring expertise, and deep understanding of alternative assets.

Prior to Drip Capital, Martin built a career in investment banking and capital raising, working across high-growth sectors and complex transactions. His background spans client advisory, investor relations, and cross-border capital formation — experience that informs his disciplined approach to underwriting, partnership building, and capital deployment in private markets.

Martin’s experience includes advising clients on strategic financings, structuring sophisticated investment vehicles, and raising institutional capital from family offices, sovereigns, and global allocators. His work bridges the gap between sophisticated capital sources and differentiated investment opportunities, fostering alignment and long-term outcomes.
